Ok.  At some point I will get around to creating a proper about page, but for now-  I am a licensed practitioner of Chinese Medicine who has over the past 10 years been hospitalized several times for a quite obscure genetic glitch (CPT2 deficiency) which has led to rhabdomyolysis and acute kidney failure (but feeling much better now!).

While I am profoundly thankful for the emergency medicine that has saved my life on more than one occasion, the warts of conventional medical care are painful to behold.  This blog is a combined perspective of my experience as both a practitioner and a patient.
